A Rhythmic Noise Drone improvisation. Beware this is not Berlin School or gentle Ambient. For some time I've become fascinated by the effect of distortion on the texture of a sound. It took me awhile to get a good idea of what different levels and tones of distortion would have on a sound so that I could use it in a live improvisation.
It's not for everyone but personally I am intrigued by the the combined effect of a filter/resonance setting combined with a distortion level and the texture changes attained by changing the tone of the distortion, the decay of the sound and the filter.
This is the first public release in, what I hope will be, a new chapter of sound making.
